What stores take WIC formula coupons in Oak Lawn?

I just started getting WIC in the suburbs for my 4-month-old daughter, and in the city of Chicago, you went to the WIC food center, which is like a grocery store. Out here in Oak Lawn, they say you have to go to a grocery store to get the formula.





We called Wal-mart, and they don't take the coupons. We don't want to go to Walgreen's, Jewel's or Dominicks because of the value on each coupon is only for a certain amount, and those places are pretty expensive for formula? now im not in chicago so things could be different. IF a store accepts wic there should be a small sign on the door that says this. around here food lion, walmart, takes them. And virginia WIC there is no amount on the check it just has the amount such as you can get 2 cans of formula. and you have to get the formula they approve. Call your wic office and they should be able to direct you to a store.What stores take WIC formula coupons in Oak Lawn?
I live in Evergreen Park, and I am on the wic program. I was told not to worry about the price on the voucher, and that I would have to go to the bigger store and we can't pay the difference. Report Abuse
